Los Angeles – Vintage clothing and accessories app Whurl is hosting an in-person pop-up this weekend.

The app works similar to other shopping apps but with a unique twist. Users post a photo of the type of garment or outfit they are looking for and sellers respond with their best match. Sellers include established stores as well as fellow users on the app. Although the company has run solely through its digital marketplace, this weekend the company is hosting a vintage marketplace at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles. According to Racked LA, the shopping haven will take place on Friday, November 27.

The in-person affair is a different approach to the app’s normal way of shopping. The vintage marketplace will include brands such as Tawas Trading Co., Black Lodge, and Fair Season as reported by Racked LA. Shoppers can browse and decide to shop at their leisure. The app, which has only been around this February, will also provide additional discounts at the marketplace in honor of Black Friday.
