Wildfox, Los Angeles-based brand, opened up a pop-up store in Desert Hills. The temporary shop opened officially on Thursday, May 21.
The contemporary label is known in Los Angeles for its vintage, bohemian pieces. Part of the company’s retail plan is to have an outlet. “As we grow in retail, it’s only natural to have an outlet,” Jimmy Sommers, chief executive officer of Wildfox, told WWD. The outlet at Desert Hills Premium Outlets will offer spring and summer pieces from the SoCal knitwear brand. According to the brand’s website, Wildfox offers pieces ranging in price from 28 to 172 dollars. The Cabazon-located outlet will be open during summer until July 30. Neighboring outlets at Desert Hills include Diesel, Chico’s, Fendi, BillaBong, Nautica, Marni, Tory Burch, and more.
Wildfox was established by Sommers in 2007. The brand is popular among locals for its ethereal feel and knitwear-based products. The company offers separates, dresses, tops, bottoms, and more. The brand’s White Label collection offers pieces with various luxury fabrics such as chiffon, velour, lace, and knit. Today, Wildfox is available at several retailers nationwide include Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Shopbop, Planet Blue, Bloomingdale’s, and more. Aside from the U.S., Wildfox is also distributed in 30 countries globally including the U.K., France, Spain, Germany, South Korea, Australia and more. The company still operates at its e-commerce site currently as well.
The brand’s first bricks-and-mortar store opened last year in West Hollywood. According to WWD, the brand will open a second flagship at the Malibu Country Mart.
