Zeynep Arçay launches in U.S.

Zeynep Arçay has finally moved into U.S. territory this year. Based in Istanbul, the edgy brand is launching an exclusive U.S. online website.

The brand is known for its feminine, vivid designs with an emphasis on leather. The timeless label just recently officialized launching in the U.S. with an online exclusive on July 15. The brand will also be available from certain retailers in the country including Switch in Los Angeles and Julianne in New York. “The strength of fall 2017 made it the obvious season to introduce to such an important new market,” Zeynep Alpay, designer of the eponymous label told WWD. The brand’s popularity has increased in the U.S. including territories such as New York, which further suggest that Zeynep Arçay is ready to expand its roots.

The company is known for its ready-to-wear women’s clothing with hand-made materials as well as silky, sophisticated textures. Prices range approximately from 1,000 to 11,000 dollars, averaging in the middle. Founded by Zeynep Özlem Alpay, she remains as the creative director for the brand. Gathering and creating unique designs, she created the label with the namesake of Zeynep Arçay in order to honor her grandmother. Currently, the collections can be reached from the Nişantaşı Showroom and Beymen İstinyePark store. Once the brand launches in the U.S. on Forward by Elyse Walker, the ready-to-wear label will be available exclusively online and in select boutiques.
