Billabong Director Matthew Wilson resigns

Matthew Wilson has resigned as Director of Billabong International owing to a potential conflict in Oaktree’s investment portfolio. The Group has also announced that Thomas Casarella, an Alternate Director for Wilson has also therefore put in his papers.

“On behalf of my fellow Directors I would like to acknowledge and thank Matthew Wilson for his contribution,” said Billabong Chairman Ian Pollard, adding, “Having joined the board in November of 2013, Wilson steps down with Billabong having just reported its first full-year profit in five years.”
