Caruso appoints new chief financial officer

Real estate company and retail developer Caruso just announced a new executive for its company. The company just hired on Peter Wilhelm as chief financial officer and executive Vice President recently.

Caruso currently manages and owns several high-profile retail locations and plazas including The Grove in Los Angeles and the Americana at Brand. This new appointment marks a career move for Wilhelm as he previously worked as CFO for the Los Angeles Dodgers team in the sports world. With his past experience in finance, it seems he will make a good fit for the retail properties. “Peter’s demonstrated track record and hands-on business approach make him the perfect candidate to step into this important role on our management team,” Caruso told Apparel News. “His experience is critical as we continue to meet our financial growth plan and redefine our industries."

According to Wilhelm's LinkedIn profile, he also worked as a board member for the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House and as a treasurer for the Greystone Foundation. In his new role, he will help advise on Caruso's tax, accounting, and financial operations, as reported by the publication.
