Contemporary brand A.L.C. names new president

Los Angeles - Sleek, minimalist label A.L.C. recently named a new president for their company. Jonathan Saven has been announced the contemporary brand’s president effective October 5.

The brand is known for its chic separates, elevated basics, and effortless silhouettes. The Los Angeles-based label named their newest president Saven after their most recent involvement with Interluxe. Interluxe recently invested in a majority stake of the company. While terms of the deal were not disclosed, the investment’s purpose is to help expand the fashion label by helping to launch retail and e-commerce stores. The new hire will help assist with the expansion plan and marketing plan for the company. “It has been an amazing journey building the brand for the past seven years and I believe it is with [Saven’s] leadership and business acumen that we will be able to fully realize our shared global vision for the company,” Andrea Lieberman, creative director and founder of the brand, told WWD.

A.L.C. was founded as a ready-to-wear collection in 2009 by Lieberman. The collection is comprised of refined, sophisticated essential garments. In addition to ready-to-wear apparel, A.L.C. also offers luxury handbags. The company currently retails in stores such as Barneys New York, Saks Fifth Avenue, Harvey Nichols, and more.
