Coolcore adds new global marketing vice president

Coolcore, thermoregulation fabrics company, has recently announced new changes to their team. The chemical-free cooling fabrics company just added David Ludd to the global marketing team.

In his new position, Ludd will fulfil the role of vice president of global marketing. His background includes experience in management as well as marketing in footwear, apparel, and retail. Because of his extensive experience, he brings special skills to the Coolcore team. “[Ludd’s] skills and experience make him uniquely qualified to lead our global brand and marketing initiatives, foster key strategic partnerships and help drive continued growth around the [world],” chief executive officer Kevin McCarthy said in a statement. He has over 20 years of experience as a senior level marketing level and worked with various lifestyle brands in his past. He worked previously in different roles at Levi’s, Converse, Nike, and more.

Coolcore has been recognized as a global leader in thermoregulation fabrics. In the past, the company has created partnerships to develop fabrics on an international scale. The patented fabric technology includes wicking, moisture circulation and regulated evaporation. This allows the fabric to have moisture-management textiles that will reduce the surface fabric temperature by 30 percent. Through their advancements, Coolcore’s fabric is the first U.S. company to earn the title of “Innovative Technology” from the Hohenstein Institute. In continuing their grow their brand and marketing initiatives, Ludd was added to the team to help expand on a global scale.
