Daniella Vitale will receive the fourth annual Fashion Forward Award from the LIM Fashion Education Foundation, recognising her leadership in fashion and her support for education and emerging talent.
The award will be presented at an event on April 22 in New York, bringing together professionals from fashion, retail and business. The initiative also serves as a fundraiser to support scholarships for students pursuing careers in the industry.
Vitale, currently chief executive officer for the Americas at Ferragamo, is an alumna of LIM College and has supported the foundation for several years, including mentoring students and creating internship opportunities.
The Fashion Forward Award recognises individuals shaping the future of fashion while contributing to education. Previous honourees have included industry figures such as Sam Edelman, Todd Snyder and Jen Foyle.
For fashion students and educators, the event highlights ongoing collaboration between industry leadership and educational institutions, with scholarship funding and mentorship opportunities forming a central part of the programme.
