Deb Henretta joins board of American Eagle Outfitters

American Eagle Outfitters announced the appointment of Deb Henretta as an independent director to its board, effective February 14, 2019. The company’s board of directors has expanded to eight directors, three of whom are women.
Henretta, who has appeared on Fortune’s List of 50 of the Most Powerful Women in Business for seven consecutive years, currently sits on a number of boards, including Corning Inc., Meritage Homes and NiSource. She also serves as a Senior Advisor to G100, a C-Suite leadership, learning and development company.
She worked with Procter & Gamble Company for 30 years, most recently serving as Group President of Global E-commerce and President of Global Beauty Care.
“Deb’s passion for innovation and transforming the customer experience is perfectly aligned with our strategic vision as we continue to grow our leading brands worldwide," Jay Schottenstein, American Eagle Outfitters' CEO and Executive Chairman of the Board, said in a statement.
