Gwyneth Paltrow's luxury e-commerce site has poached a new editorial director who comes with experience from Hearst and Condé Nast. After closing a 15 million dollar round of Series B funding, the company decided it was time to staff up. They also recently launched a buy-now-wear-now line that sold out in five days.

Nandita Khanna will be stepping into the role of Goop's editorial director where she will handle digital content and social media. Khanna is replacing Elise Loehnen who was promoted to head of content.

Khanna was most recently editorial director of J. Crew. In addition to her experience at J. Crew, she has worked for several prominent magazines including Town & Country and Condé Nast Traveler.

Additional Goop hires include Allyson Schwartz, who has worked at Wired and InStyle, and Nancy Gutman from Harper's Bazaar. Both women join Goop's sales division.

Goop announced this year it will also be relocating from New York to California as part of its expansion. According to Paltrow, the brand tripled their revenue from 2014 to 2015.
