GreenCore Solutions Corp. (GSC) has appointed Julia Turley, a former Walmart US director, to its board of directors.
Turley brings more than 20 years of experience in retail merchandising, category strategy, assortment planning and supplier partnerships. During her time at Walmart, she most recently served as director of merchandising for Beauty, where she was responsible for a business with an annual value of approximately 2 billion dollars.
Based in Bentonville, Arkansas, Turley is the founder of JT Retail Solutions LLC. In her new role at GSC, she will advise the company as it expands its artificial intelligence technology for consumer packaged goods and beauty and personal care brands.
GSC develops AI Agents designed to help brands sell products through retail procurement systems. Its platform uses the company’s CPG Knowledge Graph, powered by SPARKS, to make products machine-discoverable, machine-orderable and ready for procurement by retailers, enterprise resource planning systems and other AI platforms.
The company said Turley’s experience will help strengthen the connection between its technology and the way retailers evaluate and purchase products. GSC currently processes more than 11.5 million inbound AI Agent transactions each month across a database covering 38,350 beauty and personal care brands, 15,688 retail grocery banners and 3.29 million points of sale in 50 global markets.
“Everyone wins,” said Matthew Keddy, CEO of GreenCore Solutions. “GSC’s makers get AI Agents built against real buyer judgment, while retail buyers get a sell-side platform engineered for their procurement requirements.”
Turley said her experience at Walmart involved assessing brands based on customer needs, category performance and commercial potential.
“AI is changing how brands and retailers find, evaluate and transact with one another, but strong retail decisions still require sound merchant judgment,” she said. “I’m excited to bring that perspective to GSC as it builds technology designed around how retailers actually buy.”
GSC said Turley is the first Walmart U.S. merchandising leader to join the board of an AI Agent company focused on consumer packaged goods.
