Heather Bogen named president of wholesale at Xcel Brands Inc.

Xcel Brands, the holding company for brands including Isaac Mizrahi, Judith Ripka, Halston, Logo by Lori Goldstein, Longaberger, and C. Wonder, has hired Heather Bogan as president of wholesale apparel, a new position in the company. A veteran of the fashion fashion industry, Bogen has previously worked at the women’s division of Tharanco Group and the women’s sportswear division of DKNY/Donna Karan. Throughout the course of her career, she has also worked at G-III Apparel Group, LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, and Jones Apparel Group.

“We are pleased to welcome Heather to Xcel Brands as she brings nearly 30 years of highly relevant wholesale apparel expertise,” Robert W. D’Loren, chairman and chief executive officer of Xcel Brands, said in a statement. “Heather is a great leader and will be a valuable addition to the team as we continue to propel our fashion and apparel business forward.”

Bogen will report directly to D’Loren. In her new role, she will be responsible for increasing wholesales sales and other sales opportunities for Xcel’s network of brands.
