Longtime Stella McCartney CMO Stephane Jasper steps down

Longtime chief marketing officer and right hand to Stella McCartney, Stephane Jaspar is leaving the company.

Jaspar had been with the brand since 2003, working across PR, marketing, digital and license. His work helped the brand grow as well as expand its mission for sustainability over the past 16 years. Previously, he had working with Nadine Johnson and Miramar films. While Jaspar’s next role is not yet known, WWD reported that it will be in New York.

”We all wish Stephane a bright and brilliant future, and feel so grateful for all he contributed over the years,” McCartney stated to WWD. “We wish him much love and success.”

Stella McCartney is currently undergoing a transition as it leaves the Kering Group. McCartney had originally launched the brand as an equal partnership with Kering, and now plans to become completely independent by next year.
