American retail chain Macy's named Suzanne K. Anderson as its new vice president of ready-to-wear fashion. Anderson will be responsible for all areas of women’s apparel within the company's fashion office, reporting directly to group vice president Durand Guion.

Most recently vice president and creative director at Peeless Clothing, Anderson comes to Macy's with over 20 years experience throughout the fashion industry, including trend forecasting, marketing and product development.

Anderson's predecessor in the vice president of ready-to-wear role was Lauren Wilner, who has since been reassigned to the position of vice president of business development, fashion.

“Suzanne brings extensive and diverse experience to the role and her exceptional taste level will support our initiatives to deliver an exciting mix of trend-right product into our stores and Macys.com,” Durand Guion told WWD.
