Mango appoints Kasia Katarzyna as new global retail director

Madrid – Mango has announced the promotion of Kasia Katarzyna to the position of new global retail director, along with her subsequent appointment to the company's management team. She joined the group at the beginning of the year from H&M.

Katarzyna (Kasia) Niemirowicz Majtas has an extensive background with the Swedish fashion multinational, where she held various positions for nearly 20 years. Majtas, then regional director of the H&M Group for Eastern Europe, joined Mango last May 2026 to take on the role of international retail director for the Northern Europe region. The Andic family's company valued her contribution of more than 20 years of experience in commercial leadership and international retail in key global markets. This was gained while working for the owner of direct competitors such as H&M, Cos and &Other Stories.

After only a few months with the Spanish fashion multinational, the experience must have been particularly positive. The company has now promoted her to the new global director of Mango's retail department, consequently adding her to its management team. In her new role, the company states, the executive will oversee Mango's global retail strategy. She will actively contribute to its commercial expansion and growth in key markets across various regions worldwide.

“Her appointment reinforces our commitment to the ‘Empower’ pillar of our strategic plan, which is focused on attracting top-tier international talent to support the company's growth ambitions for the coming years,” stated Mango's management. This is a clear reference to its 4E Strategic Plan, presented in March 2024. The company is expected to present a new business plan for this roadmap soon. Its validity and objectives were outlined for the period from 2024 to 2026.
