Bud Konheim, Co-Founder and CEO of New-York based fashion brand Nicole Miller, passed away last week. Nicole Miller, the other Co-Founder of the brand, will succeed him as CEO while still holding the roles of President and Head Designer.

“Bud and I built this company together and while we will miss him greatly, the company is well positioned for the future with a clear path for continued growth and success of the brand. We look forward to continued innovation, unique designs, strong partnerships, and an expanding global presence", said Miller in a statement. She will continue to oversee the expansion of the brand as well as the design and showing of Nicole Miller’s collections at New York Fashion Week.

Miller is not the only one taking on new roles, however. The brand’s entire management team will be going through changes. Cynthia Nixon, Executive Vice President of Design, Product Development and Licensing, will assume the additional title of Chief Licensing Officer and Head of Global Brand Development to support Miller in her new role.

Additionally, Allison Hodge, former Vice President of Communications is rejoining the company in the role of Vice President of Communications and Brand Messaging. Tony LoDolce, Vice President of Finance, will become Vice President Finance and Administration. Last but not least, the company has formed a five-member advisory council to help it expand the business in the years to come.

Founded in 1982 and best known for its bold prints, Nicole Miller is currently sold in over 1500 partner stores in the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Japan, UK, China, UAE and Dubai. It sells apparel, shoes, jewelry, activewear and home decor products.
