RetailMeNot ropes in Nordstrom.com VP of Product

Couponing website RetailMeNot has announced the appointment of Joshua Platt to the role of Chief Product Officer. Platt is joining the company from Norstrom.com, where he served as Vice President of Product for four years. Prior to that position, he spent 11 years at Microsoft holding several senior roles. Platt will report to RetailMeNot’s CEO, Marissa Tarleton.

“I was attracted to the role at RetailMeNot given the company's mission of saving millions of consumers money”, said Platt in a statement. “I am excited to carry that mission forward while delivering superior customer experiences that drive business growth".

RetailMeNot has also announced two internal promotions: Scott Sundheim, who’s been with RetailMeNot for seven years, has been promoted to the role of Senior Vice President of North America Marketing, while Seth Randle, who previously served as President of Legal, will take on the position of Chief Counsel and Compliance Officer. Both of them will report to Tarleton.

Founded in 2006, RetailMeNot operates a number of coupon voucher websites, including RetailMeNot.com and VoucherCodes.co.uk. The company is a subsidiary of Harland Clarke Holdings, which also owns Harland Clarke, Valassis and Scantron.
