S&S names Sean Eckhardt as SVP of US sales

S&S has appointed Sean Eckhardt as SVP of US sales as the branded merchandise distributor looks to strengthen its commercial strategy and customer partnerships.
Eckhardt succeeds Jim Strugell, who is retiring after helping lead the company through its integration of alphabroder. He will oversee S&S's national sales organisation, with a focus on commercial growth, talent development and customer relationships.
In a statement, hief commercial officer Toby Whitmoyer said Eckhardt's "collaborative style and customer-first mindset make him a tremendous addition to our team," adding that his experience would help strengthen the sales organisation while keeping customers at the centre of the business.
Eckhardt joins S&S with almost 30 years of commercial leadership experience. Most recently, he served as chief commercial officer at Casa Del Sol Tequila, having previously held senior sales leadership roles at Bacardi USA, Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits and Reyes Beverage.
Commenting on his appointment, Eckhardt said: "I'm excited to join S&S at such an important time for the business.
