Sally Singer, Vogue's digital creative director, will be leaving the magazine. The Cut reported that Singer's departure from the magazine was announced to her fellow Vogue staffer's last week.

"Sally and I have been talking about this for some time," said Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of Vogue and the artistic director of Condé Nast, in a statement obtained by The Cut. "She's ready for a change, and as sad as I am as a colleague and as a friend to lose her, I am so excited to see what she does next. She is nothing less than a creative force and her contributions to the world of Vogue — print, digital, video and everything else — have been immeasurable."

Singer first joined Vogue in 1999 as fashion news director and later became both fashion news and features director. In 2010 she left to become editor-in-chief of T: The New York Times Style Magazine, but returned to Vogue two years later as digital creative director, where she was tasked with launching Voguerunway.com.

Singer is one of Vogue's three most high profile departures this year. Earlier this year it was announced longtime Executive Fashion Editor Phyllis Posnick and fashion director Tonne Goodman would be stepping down from their roles and continuing on with the magazine in a contributing editor capacity. No word yet as to who or if Singer will be replaced by. Stuart Emrich, who ran the New York Times Styles section for years, will be joining Vogue.com as its editor, a brand new role created by Wintour, where he will be overseeing all of Vogue's digital content. It's possible Singer's duties will just be absorbed into Emrich's new role.
