Scott Betty gets new design role at Eyeking

Melville, New York-based sunglass label Eyeking has added Scott Betty as their new senior vice president of product and design. Betty arrives at the company with 20 years of experience in the eyewear and sporting goods industry. Most recently, he was director of global optics at Oakley where he was responsible for product development and sunglass design. He was also responsible for the brand's apparel, footwear, and accessories.

In a statement, Shelly Goldman, president and chief executive officer of Eyeking, said, "It’s an exciting time for the company, as we look to expand our team with the addition of experienced professionals like Scott. Along with new, elevated product and design initiatives, Eyeking is poised to continue on this upward growth track.”

In addition to his tenure at Oakley, Scott has also worked at Adidas and Converse.
