After Hogan announced this week that its association with British designer Simon Holloway has come to an end after a two-year stint, industry insiders suggest that the designer is on his way to be the new Creative Director of Agnona.

Sources also claim that his first women’s collection for Agnona, will be for fall 2016 and he will report to Agnona’s Chief Executive Officer Alessandra Carra. Holloway replaces Stefano Pilati, who exited the company in July but continues to be Head of design at Ermenegildo Zegna.

Holloway was earlier associated with Jimmy Choo and later joined Hogan in January 2014, providing a contemporary touch to its designs. Prior to Jimmy Choo, Holloway was associated with brands such as Narciso Rodriguez, Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors and Richard Tyler.

Agnona was founded in 1953 and falls under the Zegna Group portfolio since 1999. The parent company is looking at spreading Agnona’s presence in the international markets.
