Specialty niche of staffing solutions and executive search firm Solomon Page acquired of E.A. Hughes & Co., a leading retained executive search firm servicing the retail and consumer markets. The new addition will join Solomon Page's Fashion & Beauty Division to recruit talent in the fashion and beauty industries.

E.A. Hughes & Co. was founded in 1991 by Elaine Hughes, advising clients in their strategic growth initiatives with a comprehensive approach to the search process.

Elaine Hughes will continue to lead her team, alongside the current Solomon Page leaders of the Fashion & Beauty Division, Sue Lamoreaux and Patty Hoban Scott. The will further complement the company's reputation both geographically and strategically.

"I am thrilled by the synergy this acquisition will provide to each of our clients," said Elaine Hughes in a statement. "It will allow the team to deliver unpreceded talent acquisition encompassing the C-suite executive placements to temporary hires from a single source."

Solomon Page notes that the landscape of human capital and business is constantly evolving, and its acquisition of E.A. Hughes & Co. reflects its goal to adapt to shifts within the marketplace so the firm can better allow a multi-faceted approach for its clients.

"Our existing footprint coupled with E.A. Hughes' established presence uniquely qualifies us as a progressive and forward-thinking brand in the new world of the retail, fashion, and beauty industries," Lloyd Solomon, Founding Partner and Managing Director said in a statement.
