Tailored Brands, Inc. just made a new change to their board effective immediately. Starting Tuesday, March 28, Dinesh Lathi has been named the company’s non-executive chairman of the board.

In taking over the role, he succeeds William Sechrest, who will stay on the board of directors currently. As no stranger to the company, Lathi takes the role after joining Tailored Brands’ board in March 2016. He is a current standing member of the audit and compensation committees."The board and I are delighted to appoint Dinesh as chairman,” Sechrest said in a statement. “He has brought enthusiasm and a fresh perspective to our board in addition to his extensive expertise in e-commerce.”

With a background in finance and the consumer digital space, he has served as former chief executive officer of One Kings Lane, an online home decor and lifestyle destination. He also worked in executive roles at eBay for seven years. All of this work experience seems to prove that Lathi is suitable for the upcoming role at hand at Tailored Brands. “I am looking forward to working with our talented board and management team as we continue to strengthen our leadership position in men's specialty retail,” Lathi said in a statement.

Tailored Brands, Inc. is a platform that allows for men to dress for work, everyday and special occasions. WIth over 1,600 locations in the U.S., the company’s omni-channel network works through its e-commerce branded websites and through retailers. Currently, Tailored Brands includes a portfolio including Moores Clothing for Men, K&G, Men’s Wearhouse, Jos. A Bank, Joseph Abboud, and more.
