The Bailey Group brings on new president and chief marketing officer for digital

The Bailey Group just announced some key executive staff changes. The Los Angeles-based group, parent company of Bailey44 and Ali & Jay, added two new people to take over as president and chief digital, marketing officer.

The company just appointed Peggi Jewell as new president of the group. In her new role, Jewell will oversee day-to-day operations. Perviously, she worked at Kellwood, Lucky Brand, J. Crew, and Liz Claiborne. In those jobs, she held various positions including executive roles that prepared her to take over as president for The Bailey Group. For VF Corp., she held the role of vice president of merchandising, design, and product development. Taking over The Bailey Group, she will be responsible for both brands Bailey44 and Ali & Jay.

Roshanna Sabaratnam will also join the company as the new chief digital and marketing officer. She previously worked at J Brand, Gilt and Yahoo. At J Brand, she was Vice President of E-Commerce and Digital Strategy. Working at Gilt, she held the role of marketing executive. Moving forward, it seems that her new emphasis will be on improving the company's marketing and online efforts.

Both Sabaratnam and Jewell will work to encompass a strong leadership team and build the overall brands. With their past experience including elite roles, the two are expected to lead both Bailey44 and Ali & Jay to grow successfully.
