Laurent Malecaze has been promoted to the role of Chief Executive Officer at The Webster, the company revealed in a press release. He joined the US-based luxury multibrand retailer in 2015 as Chief Operating Officer and has been serving as the company’s President since May 2018.

Additionally, The Webster has appointed Stephane Jaspar to the role of Chief Brand Officer. He is joining the company from Stella McCartney, where he served for 16 years working across PR, marketing, digital and license. Previously, he worked with Nadine Johnson and Miramar films.

Both Malecaze and Jaspar will report to The Webster’s Founder, Creative Director and Former CEO Laure Hériard Dubreuil.

Founded in 2009, The Webster’s flagship store is located in the heart of Miami Beach. The company also operates retail locations in Bal Harbour, Houston and Costa Mesa, in addition to a recently opened store in Soho, New York. A seventh flagship store, to be located in Los Angeles, is set to open in early 2020. The two executives are also expected to help the company in accelerating its global digital footprint, as well as expanding the store’s offering following the recent launch of a home section.
