Los Angeles - Westfield Corp. just added a new executive to their team. The shopping center company hired Heather Vandenberghe as their chief marketing officer for the U.S.
At Westfield, Vandenberge will be handling the role of marketing for Westfield’s U.S. properties, as reported by WWD. She will be based out Los Angeles and will oversee 30 of the company’s shopping centers. These centers include Westfield plazas in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and more. As chief marketing officer, her role will be marketing for these retail centers and also overseeing the position of the Westfield brand. Additionally, she will direct the national marketing team and also work with individual retailers to help drive business.
Vandenberghe was hired on with the Westfield Corp. due to her vast experience in the fashion industry. In the past, her experience ranges from running her own consulting firm, working at Tommy Hilfiger in an executive vice president position, and also working at Louis Vuitton. At Louis Vuitton, she oversaw brand marketing and communications for the brand in North America for about ten years. In both fashion position, Vandenberghe’s experience included marketing, public relations, events, and advertising.
