US pre-owned luxury retailer What Goes Around Comes Around (WGACA) has named Rachel Zoe as its new style director.

In her new role, Zoe will bring her perspective on vintage and fashion to seasonal collections, styling, special projects and events throughout the year.

“Rachel has been part of the WGACA story for decades, and she understands this business in a way that very few people do,” said Seth Weisser, co-founder and chief executive officer of WGACA. “When we started, vintage was not a part of the luxury conversation. Rachel has played a huge role as has WGACA in changing the public perception to where we are today. Bringing her style direction to the company will help continue to build the business and trust we have earned over the past three decades.”

Zoe’s first project in the position debuted during New York Fashion Week with The Rachel Zoe Edit, a selection of pieces chosen from the WGACA archive. The collection was unveiled at the brand’s Wooster Street store and made available to shop in-store and online.

“WGACA has always been my mecca for vintage fashion,” added Zoe. “Every time I visit their stores or website, I am inspired and excited to add to my collections. Their curations are unrivalled as is their impeccable focus on the best of the best of all of my favorite brands. Expanding my long-standing relationship with WGACA in this official role feels like a natural evolution.”

Gerard Maione, co-founder and chief creative officer of WGACA, noted that Zoe shares the company’s view of vintage garments as timeless heirlooms. “She has such a strong sense of fashion history, but her instinct is always to make it feel on trend, relevant and translatable,” said Maione. “Creatively, there is a real alignment in how we see things, and I am excited to see where we can take that together.”

Zoe will continue working with WGACA throughout the next year, with additional projects and appearances to be announced.
