Worth Collection Ltd, which owns apparel brands Worth New York and W by Worth, has appointed Cindy Hall as its General Merchandise Manager/Head Merchant. Hall will be responsible for the company’s merchandising strategy, which includes product design, merchandise planning and assortment planning, Worth Collection announced in a statement.
”Cindy has had a successful career by helping some of the most recognizable retailers in the world with their strategic vision, design and product development, and repositioning and growing their brands”, said the chairman of Worth Collection’s board, John Disa.
Hall has over 30 years of experience in retail. Prior to joining Worth Collection, she worked at her own consulting firm, Cindy B Hall Consulting. She has also held senior roles at Ann Taylor, Juicy Couture, Aerie by American Eagle Outfitters, and Gap Inc.
”I couldn’t be more thrilled to be joining the team”, said Hall in the statement. “The retail industry is going through exciting and transformative times, but one thing will always remain true in retail: meaningful customer relationships is a must for any successful brand. The fact that many of Worth’s customers have been shopping with the brand for over a decade proves that the company is well positioned for the future”.
Founded in 1991 and headquartered in New York, Worth Collection Inc. sells luxury womenswear and sportswear directly to consumers through its “Worth Stylists”. It also operates by-appointment showrooms and e-commerce.
