Worth Collection Ltd names Susan Gustafson as CEO

Worth Collection Ltd, the company behind women’s apparel brands Worth New York and W by Worth, has announced the appointment of Susan Gustafson to the role of CEO. She is succeeding Francine Della Badia, who left the company in December 2017, and joins the entreprise following its recapitalization by an affiliate of New Water Capital, a private equity firm focused on lower-middle market companies.
“With Gustafson’s long list of accomplishments and leadership roles, Worth Collection is set to see a record-breaking year in 2019”, said Worth Collection Ltd in a statement. Gustafson’s most recent role was President of Ratner Companies, a business operating five salon brands: Hair Cuttery, Bubbles Salon, Salon Cielo and Spa, Salon Plaza, and Colorworks. Previous experiences include President of Marketing for kitchen products company The Pampered Chef and Brand Development Strategist for gifts retailer Things Remembered.
According to Worth Collection’s statement, Gustafson increased field satisfaction and engagement by 77 percent and improved the client net promoter score by 174 percent during her nine-year tenure at Ratner.
Founded in 1991 and headquartered in New York, Worth Collection sells womenswear and sportswear directly to consumers through its network of “Worth Stylists”. It also operates by-appointment showrooms and e-commerce.
