Contemporary label A.L.C. just announced three new store openings for 2018. The brand is creating a firm bi-coastal presence with one new location bowing in New York and two set to open in Los Angeles.
The first location will open on the East Coast in SoHo on April 6, as reported by WWD. The New York store will boast 2,300 square feet and will feature various interior decor details including marble, concrete, and vintage furniture. The two following boutiques will open respectively in downtown Los Angeles and Palisades Villages. The Los Angeles locations have no set opening date currently. The retail expansion seems to be a way that A.L.C. can help enhance its customers' overall experience. According to the founder of the company Andrea Lieberman, A.L.C. is focusing on creating a unique space with design as a focal point for its stores. "The next 10 years should be focused on growing with our customer and the stores have been conceptualized and designed with her in mind — everything from the lighting to the dressing rooms to the warm, comfortable atmosphere," she told WWD.
A.L.C originally launched in 2009, the ready-to-wear brand is known for its sophisticated, modern pieces. The collection currently retails at various department stores including Saks Fifth Avenue, Barneys, Bergdorf Goodman, Intermix, Harvey Nichols, Harrods, and more.
