Los Angeles - Technology brand Acustom Apparel is coming to Los Angeles this month. The label, which uses innovative digital advancements for tailored clothing, will be opening its flagship in the city on May 26.
The company announced that it would be opening a new store on its LinkedIn page. In a post that details the store’s opening, the brand states that it “is looking to hire for our new store in [Los Angeles].” According to WWD, the space will encompass 1,000 square feet and will be located off of 3rd Street. Fittingly named, the brand focuses on using technology and advancements to create custom clothing including t-shirts, suits, outerwear, chinos, denim, and more. Prices vary but average around 169 dollars for chambray shirts and button-downs. However, full suits can costs up to 1,500 dollars in price. The newest store, which will retail a selection of their merchandise, will be Acustom Apparel’s first step into expanding more in the U.S. Currently, Acustom has one flagship open off of Broadway in SoHo in New York.
Since its establishment in 2011, the New York-based company has used this cutting-edge technology to create an apparel line that is unique and satisfying for individual customers. The company’s digital advancements come from a 3-D measuring device that helps create tailored pieces. The scanner collects information from a person’s body size and creates a pattern that is custom-made to each person. With the new store, Acustom Apparel is using its retail locations to advance its presence in the U.S.
