Agnès B. takes over two Wittmore locations in Los Angeles

This spring, Wittmore is featuring French designer Agnès B. in two of its shops in Los Angeles. At both its Arts District location and on West Third Street, the parisian designer will show off sophisticated, everyday wear.

The shops both show off a curated selection of Agnès B.’s spring 2017 collection as well as the B. Forever collection.The takeover for these two Los Angeles shops opened officially February 25. The brand’s ready-to-wear at these retail locations include unisex t-shirts, snap cardigans, overalls, petticoats, sweatshirts, dresses, and more. With varied color schemes including deep black and reddish tones, Agnès B. encompasses a simplistic, classic styles with a street style edge. "I used to stop into Agnès B. in downtown New York all the time for visual merchandising and creative inspiration right at the beginning of my career,” Wittmore founder Paul C. Witt said in a statement. “I see so many other labels now inspired by that time period and she remains the original - forever classic and modern at the same time.”

The partnership will also feature art installations at these shops. The artwork will consists of photographs by filmmaker Kenneth Anger. Specific photographs that will be featured include stills from Anger’s short film Inauguration of the Pleasure Dome as well as from the series Inside the Pleasure Dome. The in-store set-up of the popup will also include pine shelving with playful and airy displays for Agnès B.’s collection. "I am excited to be back in Los Angeles, exclusively at Wittmore for spring 2017," said Agnès B. "A city full of creative energy and new ideas. I hope people love pieces from my collection."
