Battistoni opens first U.S. store

Los Angeles - Italian brand Battistoni finally comes to the U.S. The store, which opened March 16, marks the label’s first Los Angeles flagship as well as its overdue debut in the country.

The flagship is located off of Wilshire Boulevard and Rodeo Drive. It will boast 6,500 square feet and space and will have an upscale, urban decor for its interior. Materials used for its design include leather and bronze details along with travertine stone. These bring reminiscent aesthetics of Rome and Italy in fitting with Battistoni’s brand. The store will also offer its menswear and womenswear including suits, shoewear, shirting, leather good, accessories, and more. Battistoni is typically sold at upscale retailers such as Barney’s New York. However, this will serve as the brand’s first isolated U.S. store.

Los Angeles locals are familiar with Rodeo Drive has a luxury shopping strip, complete with retailers such as Fendi, Bulgari, Lacoste, Tiffany & Co, and Burberry. The reason that the brand chose this particular location was due to its popularity as a shopping spot. “For me Rodeo is a conduit of all the streets. It’s like the center of Rome,” president of the brand Gianni Battistoni told WWD. In order to give off the right vibe to the customer, Battistoni felt it was imperative to have the proper location. “Battistoni is like a mood and we’d like to transfer that mood to our customer,” he told the publication.
