Named after the iconic small grocery stores all around New York, Boston-based brand Bodega is now hitting the West Coast. The boutique just launched its first shop opening in Los Angeles in downtown.

The shop had a soft opening over this weekend with an official permanent store debuting next week, according to WWD. The store is known for its infusion of both streetwear clothing as well as a strong 'bodega-influenced' aesthetic. Upon entering, the store looks similar to the typical bodegas on any East Coast corner with a curated selection of brands retailing inside. The brand claims it is "hidden in plain sight" and curates rare, quality goods available both in Boston and now Los Angeles.

The new store will most likely carry streetwear labels such as Nike, Stussy, A.P.C., Champion, Puma, Yeezy, Adidas and more, as these brands are available through the Bodega website. The Los Angeles location will boast 8,000 square feet and introduce various limited edition collaborations with brands from around the area. Currently, this will mark the company's second standalone store next to its Boston flagship.
