Boxed teams with Century21 department stores to offer apparel & beauty

Boxed is joining the fashion game. The online grocery store has partnered with department store chain Century21 to offer apparel and beauty products for the first time.

Both retailers aim to provide consumers with name-brand products for a fair price; Boxed offers wholesale bulk order pricing without membership fees while Century21 carries designer items for outlet pricing.

"Century 21 remains a leader in high-end, off-price fashion retail," Boxed category manager Kelly Welsh told Grocery Dive. "By partnering with Century 21, the iconic New York City retailer, Boxed is able to expand our everyday assortment of household essentials to include top designer brands at incredibly low prices."

Boxed now carries apparel and beauty items from brands including Bare Minerals, Calvin Klein, Polo Ralph Lauren, Adidas and Ray-Ban, selling these items for outlet pricing with Century21's help.
