Los Angeles – Vintage fashion boutique Bustown Modern has officially shuttered their first flagship.

The brand opened its first bricks-and-mortar in 2014 on Melrose Avenue. The space, after spending approximately a year at its residency is slated to close, as reported by Racked LA. According to the publication, the space will be taken over by menswear designer Denis Frison. As the new store will open in March 2016, Bustown Modern will no longer be available at the location. There are no confirmations on whether or not the store will be relocating to a new space.

Started nearly ten years ago, the retro-inspired clothing collection brings together a curated selection of high-end designers with a mix of vintage pieces. The pieces range in price from 240 to as high as 1,200 dollars. The brand offers a variety of separates, tops, bottoms, and more from select designers such as Christian Dior, Naeem Khan, Max Mara and more. There are no bricks-and-mortars open, but the company does participate in pop-ups. Recently, Bustown Modern hosted a temporary space for the New York vintage show A Current Affair in Brooklyn. The company is also still largely active through its online commerce site.
