In April, menswear and womenswear tradeshow Capsule announced that it would be heading to the West Coast for its Los Angeles debut. Continuing with this westward trend, the trade fair just announced that it will open Capsule Concept, a retail shop to launch on October 4.

Opening in Los Angeles at Platform, this will be the company’s first retail store. The boutique will open before Capsule’s tradeshow takes place, which is held from October 17-18. The concept shop will include a rotating-theme of various brands. For the first theme, the month-long concept will be aligned perfectly with the west Coast emphasizing the “Beach.” This means that Capsule Concept will feature swimwear brands and accessories brands that are fitting for beach and summer attire. “Our community of brands is so special,” co-founder of Capsule Deirdre Maloney said in a statement.

The first month of the shop will feature brands such as Stone Fox, Ozma, Solid & Striped, Flagpole, Slate, and more. Also, the shop will include accessories brands such as Truss and Kayu, Lola and Valdez, Garrett Leight, Illesteva and more. The shop will run through the month of October and will switch gears next month with “Body” as the new theme. Similarly to the first theme, Body will emphasize activewear and fitness clothing.
