Los Angeles - Corey Lynn Calter has recently decided to change directions with her Los Angeles-based company. Moving out from wholesale operations, her eponymous brand is now changing gears to focus on jewelry and home decor on the online markets.

Currently, the brand still has apparel that will be shipped to stores this summer. According to WWD, that will be her last collection for Corey Lynn Calter. Her reason from slowing down on wholesale has to do with her personal feelings on the fashion industry. “It’s not just the economy,” she told the publication, “[the industry] felt broken.” In her new ventures, the brand will cater to jewelry and home decor shoppers through her website. The new label Calter will introduce will be called CLC by Corey Lynn Calter. The label will introduce sleepwear, home decor and jewelry. So although her wholesale operations have stopped, Calter will continue to work in design with her company.

Corey Lynn Calter, also known as CLC, is an experimental lifestyle lab that Calter created. The CLC collection up until this point has included home goods, loungewear and all aspect of the home. Currently, the website offers apparel, accessories, sleepwear, home goods, and vintage home items.
