Los Angeles - Cos, H&M’s sister brand, is officially coming to downtown Los Angeles in a more permanent way. The brand has hosted pop-ups and installations previously in the area, however, the elevated clothing brand is slated to open its own bricks-and-mortar within the next year.

As reported by Racked LA, the luxury brand will be opening by revitalizing downtown’s Olympic Theatre. Off of 8th Street, the space neighbors various shopping boutiques around the corner including the shopping plaza near Fig at 7th. The report originated from DTLA Rising by Brigham Yen, who confirmed that the upscale brand will open within the next year. At the moment, there is no official opening date for the store.

In the past, when Cos has had pop-ups, the brand has sold its clothing including its most recent autumn and winter collections. The brand’s clothing reflects a contemporary, monochromatic palette with soft hues. In their most recent pop-up last November, Cos rented out a space and designed the interior decor to match its clothing. The brand’s clothing typically retails approximately around 100 dollars ranging from jumpers, jersey dresses, collar shirts, coats, and more. Although not yet confirmed by Cos, it’s likely due to the brand’s past with downtown Los Angeles that a store will open here in the near future.
