Cuyana opens on Abbot Kinney in Venice

Los Angeles - High-quality craftsmanship brand Cuyana just recently opened in Venice. The San Francisco-based brand just opened its newest space off of Abbot Kinney Boulevard.

The location is similar to the brand, as Cuyana opened a retail pop-up space on the same street in December 2015. The brand, which launched in 2013 primarily through its e-commerce site, just opened its first permanent store in Venice Beach. The store offers its silk apparel and accessories for locals. The brand also has done various pop-ups, including one on Abbot Kinney this past September. After testing the waters, the brand worked to open a permanent flagship on Abbot Kinney Boulevard appealing to its Los Angeles market.

Cuyana launched a couple years ago and solely retailed through its e-commerce site. In recent ventures, the brand has done pop-ups and the Venice location proves the company is building its presence in Los Angeles. Cuyana is known for its sophisticated, chic clothing including a Poplin cotton top, leather accessories, pleated dresses, and more. The brand raised approximately 1.7 million dollars in 2013, according to WWD.
