Delvaux is expanding its retail footprint. The Belgian leather goods brand is set to open a flagship store in Milan on Via Bagutta in the Palazzo Reina this spring.

The store is one of three international flagship stores opening this year, the other two being in New York and London. Jean-Marc Loubier, chief executive officer of First Heritage Brands, who acquired the label in 2011, set forth the international expansion plan to help grow the business in key markets.

In May, Delvaux will relocate to a new location on London's New Bond Street, in addition to opening a new store on Sloane Street that same month. By the end of this year, the brand also plans on occupying a new retail space on 59th Street and Fifth Avenue in New York City at the historic Sherry-Netherland building.

The New York location puts the retailer in close proximity to Bergdorf Goodman's flagship store and Barneys New York's Madison Avenue flagship. It is a smart retail strategy move on Delvaux's part as they will be in a high-traffic luxury shopper destination.
