Los Angeles - After much anticipation, OVO, known as the label hip-hop rapper Drake owns, recently opened its Los Angeles flagship apparel store. The SoCal boutique serves as the brand’s first store in the U.S. and as its second store in total.

OVO, which stands for October’s Very Own, also has an existing flagship that opened last year in Toronto, Drake’s hometown. The fresh 2,400 square-foot flagship is off of La Brea Avenue near West Hollywood. The store offers the designer’s Fall/Winter collection in-store. Currently, the collection is almost sold out on its e-commerce sites, although there are some merchandise products left. The collection includes sweaters, tops, button-down shirts, hats, scarves, and more. Prices average around 50 dollars but can range up to approximately 152 dollars. OVO offers both menswear and womenswear with a street-savvy vibe and the brand’s iconic “owl” emblem.

The store has been highly anticipated from Drake’s fans as a musician. The store was teased with a simple nearly 1.5 minute long video that played “Hotline Bling” in the background. Drake, although gaining his reputable standing through music, has also gained a critical following for his style and streetwear persona. Through his accessible style, the OVO apparel brand was established. In introducing Los Angeles into the mix, the brand seems to be expanding more into the U.S.
