Fashion retailer Dry Goods announced the opening of new locations for 2018. The openings are part of the brand's way of growing through retail on a nationwide level.

The clothing brand will open a total of 12 flagships this year scattered across the U.S. The locations that will open Spring 2018 include The Shoppes at Grand Prairie (Peoria, Ill.), Polaris Fashion Place (Columbus, Ohio), Tuttle Crossing (Columbus, Ohio), and West Acres (Fargo, N.D.). The shops opening in the summer include Westroads Mall (Omaha, Neb.), Crossroads Mall (Kalamazoo, Mich.), NorthPark Mall (Davenport, Iowa), The Greene (Dayton, Ohio), St. Louis Galleria (St. Louis, Mo.), and West County Center (St. Louis, Mo.). Later in the year, Dry Goods will open its final two stores in Columbia Mall (Columbia, Mo.) and Summit Mall (Akron, Ohio).

The new store is meant to help drive business in terms of exposure as well as showcasing merchandise. "Our merchandise assortment is perfect for young customers wanting to create a look inspired by the latest fashion trends," Jim von Maur, president of Von Maur, the parent company of Dry Goods, said in a statement. "We are excited to continue driving the tremendous success Dry Goods has experienced with the opening of several new locations throughout the year, and we look forward to delivering a distinctive shopping experience to shoppers across the country."
