Diane von Furstenberg (DVF) held its Melrose Avenue space for almost ten years. DVF confirmed to WWD that it will be exiting the Los Angeles store, where Marc Jacobs will be expanding its flagship.

Marc Jacobs already designated the space for its newest retail development on the street. Marc Jacobs currently only has seven stores in California, with two in San Francisco and the rest near the Los Angeles area.

Other DVF store locations in L.A. include Santa Monica, Americana at Brand in Glendale, and the Grove.

The rentals for Melrose Avenue are typically 12 dollars to 15 dollars per square foot each month. Other accompanying stores on Melrose include Marni, Urban Outfitters, Temperley London, Reformation, Vivienne Westwood, and a string of other successful high-end fashion boutiques.

Diane von Furstenberg declined to comment to WWD any plans of expansion at the moment.
