Cuyana, California-based e-tailer, recently announced that it will be hosting a pop-up shop in Venice.

The 1,000 square foot temporary boutique will debut on Abbot Kinney with its womenswear apparel. So far, the company has flourished mostly due to its e-commerce site. The company has hosted pop-ups earlier this year in West Hollywood and the Grove. Since then, however, Cuyana has yet to provide a permanent brick-and-mortars shop. Due to the company’s success at the Grove, Cuyana decided to open a pop-up in Venice. The decision to host the pop-up in Los Angeles was due to the fact that Cuyana has a lot of local customers in Southern California. Although based in San Francisco, Los Angeles seem to be attracted to the Cuyana brand. “The L.A. customer really loves us,” Karla Gallardo, founder and chief executive officer, told WWD. “[The Grove pop-up] did really, really well,” said Gallardo. The boutique on Abbot Kinney will stay open through to October 25.

Cuyana is known for its minimalist, timeless approach to womenswear fashion. The company creates elegant, simplistic pieces ranging from elevated basics and leather bags, to sophisticated accessories. The company’s merchandise ranges in price from approximately 35 to 195 dollars in price. The company was founded in 2011 by Karla Gallardo who now holds the position of chief executive officer. The San Francisco-based company currently holds 11-50 employees.
