Ellen DeGeneres's lifestyle brand coming to Bergdorf Goodman

She's already conquered daytime television as a talk-show host, but now she's dipping her toes in the fashion waters, and she's making major waves. Ellen DeGeneres's lifestyle brand, ED, sold out within 24 hours of being online. If that wasn't impressive enough, the brand is now receiving a highly coveted honor: an order from luxury department store Bergdorf Goodman.

Select items from ED's fall and holiday collections will be available at Bergdorf Goodman's New York City flagship between September 10 through September 22, and on their e-commerce site between September 8 and September 30. They will also carry a capsule collection priced between 800 dollars and 3750 dollar made exclusively for Bergdorf Goodman. Most regular ED prices are between 8 dollars and 365 dollars.

ED capsule collection to be sold at Bergdorf Goodman

The capsule collection is a mix of Ellen DeGeneres's personal tomboyish style with luxury silhouettes designed to appeal to Bergdorf Goodman customers. When the brand launched in June they were online only, so, this partnership with Bergdorf Goodman marks their entrance into brick-and-mortar. For those New Yorkers who are all about the luxury materials, ED is heavy on them.

Potential shoppers can expect cashmere, Italian wool separates, and Italian woven shirting. The timing of this partnership couldn't be more perfect as it aligns with New York Fashion Week. It's quickly won the adoration of the high fashion crowds, so, DeGeneres is more than poised for success with the label.
