Los Angeles – Silver Lake is home to many local, emerging brands in the Los Angeles area. Joining that roster is the new sophisticated, minimalist shop Reservoir with its first permanent location.

The brand confirmed recently that it will be adding a new location to the Silver Lake shopping strip. The city has a reputation in Los Angeles for being a “hipster haven.” This is due to its other sleek, modish shops that make up The Corner, a shopping stretch that encompasses the corner off of Sunset Boulevard. These shops include En Soie, Dream Collective, Clare V., and Shinola Detroit. Reservoir, known for its convenient and assessable fashion, will naturally fit in the shopping area. The label has L.A.-influenced apparel that ranges from elegant dresses, contemporary basics, chic handbags, and more. The new shop will offer designer labels such as Dosa, Tina Frey, Rag & Bone, Alexander Way, Jennifer Fisher, and more. Prices for the label can go up to as high as 1,950 dollars for a gold Marquis Ear Cuff.

The brand started from founders Alisa Jacob and Aliza Zelin Neidich earlier this year. The two were both born and raised in the city of New York City, using their influence from the city towards fashion. The two “recognized the need for a convenient and accessible retail destination on the east side of Los Angeles,” according to the brand’s website. Neidich has a fashion and public relations while Jacob’s background was more focused on business and marketing. Together, the two created a concept shop that offers apparel, accessories, interior décor, and also artwork. The company size for the brand is under 10 employees and currently the headquarters are based in Los Angeles.
