Mall of America just announced that athleisure brand Fabletics will be opening a new store. The 2,000 square foot store will open this Spring 2016 in Minnesota.

The new brick-and-mortar location for the Fabletics brand was chosen due to the mall’s high traffic. Because of the mall’s popularity, Gregg Throgmartin, president of retail for Fabletics, felt that it was a “clear choice” for the brand’s retail expansion. The mall roughly has 40 million visitors annually and is one of the largest retail and entertainment centers in North America. Bringing the affordable fashion brand into the mall was also fitting within the shopping center’s audience. “The fashion-forward line, accessible price point and versatility of the pieces all make Fabletics a natural fit for our retail mix,” said Heather Brechbill Swilley, vice president of leasing at the shopping center. The store will neighbor other retailers at the mall including Armani Exchange, Macy’s, DSW and more.

The brand, co-founded by Kate Hudson, will open this year and offer its fashion athletic merchandise as well as its FL2 line. The company’s newest line includes men’s high performance athletic gear and lifestyle basics. The brand started in 2013, launched from Kate Hudson. The brand offers premium activewear for women including yoga pants, tank tops, leggings, and more. The price point for the brand ranges starting from 49.95 dollars. FL2 includes high performance materials as well as high-style activewear at a more affordable price.
