Italian designer Fausto Puglisi, known for his one-of-a-kind styles that have been worn by celebrities from Beyoncé, Kendall Jenner, and Fergie, celebrated the launch of his 9-piece capsule collection at The Webster in Miami during the Winter Music Conference. Puglisi's collection was inspired by palm tree prints and was a preview to his eponymous label's spring/summer 2019 collection. It was only fitting that a palm tree inspired collection debuted in Miami.

To Puglisi, Miami exudes the freedom for self expression and enables people of different backgrounds and beliefs to come together to create one vision. Promotional materials for the collection will include a social media diary featuring friends of the brand, including Sylvia Mantella and Nat Kelly, shot in the capsule collection pieces.

Founded by Laure Heriard Dubrueil, The Webster is an exclusive luxury multi-brand retailer. Established in 2009, The Webster’s flagship location sits in the heart of Miami Beach in a historical Art Deco building designed in 1939 by famed architect Henry Hohauser. The retail scene has had its eyes on Miami for the past several years as growing international money, tourism, and development of neighborhoods, like Wynwood, have brought increased spending on fashion and shopping to the city. The tech industry has has its eyes set on Miami as well, with the city being considered an Amazon HQ2 finalist, and other tech companies and investors are looking at bringing business to the city as well.

Capsule collections have become a bigger part of Puglisi's business recently. Last year he did a capsule collection with Marina RInaldi for plus-size women that was met with acclaim.
