Foot Locker infuses fitness with fashion by partnering with Six:02

Foot Locker, New York based sportswear and footwear retailer, recently announced its partnering with Six:02, a women’s fitness retail destination. The collaboration extends itself with an event dubbed “Six:02 Week” that will take place in New York and the Los Angeles area.

The “Six:02 Week” is from May 31 to June 7 comprising of eight consecutive days where Foot Locker stores will host workouts and shopping events. Fitness brands such as Asics, Reebok, Puma, Nike, Under Armour, and more will be spotlighted each day of the week. The shoppers visiting the store will receive branded footwear and apparel, as well as be able to shop the local stores. "We want women to discover their perfect fit in an empowering and easy-to-shop environment, so that their style feels as exhilarating as their workout,” said Stacy Cunningham, executive vice president of marketing for Six:02.

Refinery29 and Six:02 also partnered together to expand the event to the Third Street Promenade at Santa Monica. Incorporating fitness and fashion, Los Angeles instructors will be at the event to host workout classes every hour.

Foot Locker, founded in 1974 in the City of Industry in California, is currently headquartered in New York. The brand operates stores in over 20 countries worldwide. Richard Johnson is the current chief executive officer of the American footwear retailer.
